In all honesty I probably shoot a little better with the SBE 2 since it's heavier and it smoothes out my swing, but for close work and flushing I point much quicker with the m2. I don't know if I would have bought it over the m2 but since I have it I use it. I originally owned the m2 and received the SBE 2 as a gift. I never feel like I do the receiver justice while cleaning the m2 because I just can't get in there. That being said the SBE is really nice with the two piece receiver. Like others have said here very natural balance in my opinion. However, picking up the m2 after handling the SBE all duck season there is a very noticeable difference in weight and quick pointing. They both point very similarly and have a pretty comparable poi. I use my m2 for pheasant and dove and the SBE 2 for ducks. It's not really noticeable in fit difference in my case 6'3' 230. (I know its too long after two Beretta O/U with that LOP - skeet coach measured me at 13.6'. However, I understand they come in 14-1/2' Length of Pull (LOP), which is entirely too long. The receiver however is about half an inch longer on the SBE 2. Im playing with the idea of a Benelli M2 shotgun and would prefer the Comfortech stock. The stock, forearm and barrel are the same size.
